Presentation of a cheque for £100 to Rosie Summerton of Art Angel a charity organisation in Dundee which is founded in the belief that the arts and creativity are important to the lives and development of everyone, and that the highest quality of artistic opportunity should be accessible to all. Art Angel’s particular mission is to develop the creative and artistic potential of vulnerable adults who have experience of mental health difficulties as a means of self-expression, empowerment, recovery and well-being.

The money results from the Operative Lodge of Dundee #47’s McGonagall night where a group of Masons provided the entertainment for the evening. The group, Bro Peter Taylor, PM Lodge Albert Lochee 448, Derek Wood, Lodge Camerdown 317, Bro Norrie Pope PM, Arthur Gibb and Paul Ellingford, all of Lodge Broughty Castle 486, decided to donate their “fee” to a charitable good cause.
